“Queretaro Yesterday and Today”
by Fatima Escobar
Around Queretaro you can find many shops and stands full of handcrafts,
but Quinto Real is a store where you will find pieces which are select,
fine, and of very good taste.
Renata Elizondo, the owner, is dedicated to
traveling different states of Mexico (rich in handcraft production) in
search of objects and handcrafts that catch her attention. She then
places the pieces in the grand home, now a store, which she herself
restored, and there they wait to be sold to someone who feels the
pieces are meant for them.
The most attractive part of this place is that everything they sell is arranged as if it were really the decoration of a home.
